Moisture Left Untreated

When moisture is left untreated in your home microbial growth can occur and when left for a while effects can show themselves. You will begin by smelling something that just is not right then you will find that you may start seeing patches of discoloration.  This is an indication that you may need to get it professional looked at seeing that microbial growth when treated improperly can be spread and cause more issues throughout the home. in this case there was a closet that had gotten wet and had been left untreated for some time. This meant setting up negative air containment work space, removing all affected materials and then treating the affected surfaces with an anti microbial agent and a growth inhibitor. This closet is ready to have new materials installed and is free of microbial growth.
