Assisted Living Under Construction
At five o'clock in the morning a desperate General contractor calls SERVPRO of South Garland Because the assisted living facility that he is working on had flooded out during the night and approximately 40,000 square feet of the 60,000 square foot complex was under water. So SERVPRO of South Garland mobilized all the resources at our disposal. We had People on site evaluating the loss in less than 1.5 hours and multiple crews working to get the water out in less than two hours. The water in most of the facility was 2 inches deep or more and by twelve noon all of the standing water was removed from the facility and drying equipment was placed to dry out the walls and the carpet. After four intensive days of drying the building was dry and the general contractor was back on track for his certificate of occupancy deadline.
